Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Escape Travel Group. By making a booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully, as they outline your rights, obligations, and the policies governing all travel arrangements made through Escape Travel Group.


1. General Use of Services

Escape Travel Group (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides travel planning, accommodation bookings, flight arrangements, transport services, and tailored travel packages.
By engaging with us—whether via our website, email, WhatsApp, or in person—you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.


2. Booking & Payment
  • A booking is only confirmed once a deposit or full payment is received and proof of payment has been provided.

  • Payment deadlines must be honoured to secure availability with hotels, airlines, and service providers.

  • Prices are subject to change until the booking has been fully paid.

  • Late payments may result in loss of availability or price changes.


3. Deposits
  • All deposits are non-refundable, unless stated otherwise in writing.

  • Deposits are required to initiate bookings with third-party suppliers.


4. Changes to Bookings
  • Any amendments (dates, number of travellers, activity changes, or upgrades) may result in additional costs.

  • Changes are subject to availability and the policies of third-party suppliers.


5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Escape Travel Group applies the following cancellation fees:

  • 7 days or less before departure: 100% cancellation fee (no refund).

  • 8–21 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee.

  • More than 21 days before departure: Refundable minus the non-refundable deposit.

Refund processing times depend on suppliers and may take up to 14–21 working days.


6. Third-Party Suppliers

Escape Travel Group works with independent suppliers including airlines, hotels, tour operators, and transport companies.
We are not responsible for:

  • Supplier cancellations or schedule changes

  • Overbooking or service disruptions

  • Loss, damage, or delays caused by third-party providers

All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of these suppliers.


7. Traveller Responsibility

Travellers are responsible for:

  • Ensuring passport validity (minimum 6 months before expiration)

  • Obtaining necessary visas

  • Complying with airline baggage rules

  • Meeting health, vaccination, or COVID-related entry requirements

  • Arriving on time for flights, transfers, and tours

Escape Travel Group will not be liable for missed flights or tours arising from traveller negligence.


8. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance, including:

  • Trip cancellation cover

  • Medical and emergency cover

  • Lost luggage cover

  • Travel delay cover

Escape Travel Group is not liable for uninsured losses.


9. Pricing & Currency

All prices quoted are based on availability and exchange rates at the time of booking.
Prices may change without notice due to currency fluctuations, airline adjustments, or supplier changes.


10. Liability Disclaimer

Escape Travel Group acts as an agent for suppliers and cannot be held liable for:

  • Personal injury, illness, theft, or loss

  • Acts of God, strikes, political unrest, or natural disasters

  • Errors or omissions by third-party suppliers

Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the services booked directly through us.


11. Use of Website & Digital Communications
  • All content on our website is for personal use only and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

  • By contacting us, you consent to receiving booking updates, confirmations, and travel-related communication.

  • Marketing emails are optional; you may unsubscribe at any time.


12. Privacy & Data Protection

Personal information shared with Escape Travel Group will be used solely for travel arrangements and will not be sold or misused.

13. Disputes & Governing Law

Any disputes will be handled under the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Should disagreements arise, both parties agree to attempt resolution through communication before taking further action.

By making a booking or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
